Frequently asked questions

What is a shaft wall system?
A shaft wall is a fire-rated wall built entirely from one side, used where the far side cannot be accessed, such as lift shafts and service risers. The Rondo Shaftwall range supplies the stud, track, and jamb sections that hold the liner and face layers in place during one-sided construction.
What are the Speedpanel channels and angles for?
They are C channels and angles sized to frame Speedpanel walls, in plain and punched versions. We supply them in 1.15bmt alongside the rest of the Rondo framing range so the whole wall package arrives together.
Does Rondo product bought through Birak count toward my Indigenous procurement target?
Yes. Birak is Supply Nation Registered, so every dollar you spend on fire-rated wall framing through Birak counts toward Commonwealth IPP and state Indigenous procurement targets. We supply audit-ready procurement documentation with every invoice.
