MAXIframe frames external walls, facades, parapets, and tall internal walls that carry wind loads beyond what drywall framing handles. The sections run from 1.20 to 2.90bmt in 92mm and 150mm widths, with lengths to 6.0m.

How is MAXIframe different from standard steel stud?

The steel is much heavier. Standard drywall studs run 0.50 to 1.15bmt and are designed for internal linings. MAXIframe starts at 1.20bmt and is engineered for external wind pressures and heavier claddings. The two ranges share the same trade logic, so ordering both through one supplier keeps the package simple.
