QUIET STUD uses a profile designed to reduce sound transfer through the stud itself. It lifts the acoustic rating of a single-stud wall compared with a standard stud of the same size, so many designs hit their Rw target without a double-stud wall. We supply QUIET STUD with matching Rondo Quiet Track.

What is a Duplex Stud used for?

Duplex Studs are used in separating walls where stiffness and acoustic separation both matter, such as party walls between dwellings. The range includes the stud sections plus the clips and accessories that complete the system.
